On Monday I went to my 3rd Rotary  meeting in Dornbirn at Lunch with Ernst. I always get a top notch meal, and good company. We ate and talked to other members, then saw a cool presentation from a young architect that kept me well engaged the whole time. While there, I found out that my hopes on going on Euro Tour have been fulfilled. Ernst and Michael Diem spoke, and they said that I will be receiving financial support from Rotary that will get me on the trip. We spend 3-4 weeks traveling through Germany, France, Spain, and Italy. Plus, it is with some of my best friends in the world. That is another thing. While going through the hardships of an exchange, friendships become exponentially more valuable. Especially when most of your friends are an ocean and a continent away. With that in mind you can get an idea how fast you bond to the people you share this experience with. Already, I feel close to many exchange students. It started with the kids in my room in Altmünster, there I formed strong bonds with Crash, Lucas, Parker, Johnny, and Mark. Through the camp I became friends with Liam and Keegan as well. In Tauplitz I spent a lot of time with Jesse, Lauren, Crash, and Lucas, plus grew closer to Blake and Austin. Last weekend, I reenforced my friendships with Liam, Keegan, and Mark, plus grew to know Chris and Juliet a lot better. Anyway, after Rotary I went home for an hour. Then I missed my first bus (oops), but took my second bus to media class, where I learned basic animation skills. Today, tuesday, I had a normal morning, then went to lunch with Wendelin, Sefa, Mattias, and Constantin at Bäckerei Mangold and Suterlütty. I noticed the Pferdfleisch and after asking the others i found our that it is, indeed, horse jerky. I didn't try it. Yet...
