It is about 5 days before I leave and I am gearing up for my trip. I have everything packed and ready to go, and I should be ready to leave! I don't think it has fully hit me yet because I have yet to feel too nervous or sad about my departure. I just created this blog tonight, and I am hoping it will be a good way to keep my friends and family back home posted about what I am doing. I will probably post an entry upon arrival in Austria to assure everyone about my safe travel, so until then wish me luck!

Papa Jay and I are just so happy for you. We just love the idea of keeping in touch with you throughout this whole trip. OH!
